Paul Keller of Bayville identified the mystery picture of June 1 as "piles of dirt alongside of the west side of route 106 where a nursery used to be [Woodstock Nursery]. It is just before the East Norwich Inn and Rothmann's. It was a garden center and they took down the plastic tents and were supposed to make it into something but who knows what." He added, "Have a good summer." [He was right, of course.]
Billy Minicozzi said, "The June 1 mystery picture is a building on the Jakobson Shipyard property. Maybe where they store the boats." And on a sports note he said, "Good luck to the US Men's soccer team going to the World Cup in Germany. On a personal note, he said, "Thank you to Ed Minicozzi, Bobby Plummer and all the chiefs for letting me march in the Bayville Memorial Day parade."
Later in the week, he called to say the mystery photo was next to the East Norwich Inn near IHOP. The answer was given to him by Bobby Hurley, a firefighter who lives in East Norwich.
