Oyster Bay Chamber Up and Running
Like any adult [organization] the Oyster Bay Chamber of Commerce [at age 75] is taking responsibility for itself. With no executive director and no office - the board itself is in charge and focused on what they are planning. The money that paid for their executive director and office is "going back into the community," said board member W. Adam Mandelbaum, Esq.
Congratulations to OBHS Girl's Champion Fencing Team
The Oyster Bay High School Girl's Varsity Fencing Team won the Nassau County Championship Saturday, Feb. 4 against three time defending champs Great Neck North. The Lady Baymen completed a league season of 8 wins and 2 losses, which tied them in second place with Garden City.
We are hearing and reading a lot these days about the Mill Neck-Oyster Bay-Cold Spring Harbor estuary complex. Most people I have polled about it do not understand what this is and how it relates to how we live, work, and recreate in Oyster Bay. It is important to know what the estuary is and what it means to the beauty and ecological health of our area.
Congratulations to Bayville
