Angelo Cervasio, 24, Locust Valley High School graduate Class of 2000, died suddenly in Cape Coral, FL. Loving son of Alex and Virginia Cervasio. Survived by his brothers, Frank and Joseph, his grandparents, Rose Cervasio, Glen Cove, Francesco and Giuseppina Gaudio, Glen Cove and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Longtime resident of Locust Valley. Memorial services were held at St. Rocco's RC Church. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to "Disabled American Veterans" at 1-877-426-2838 ext: 3302.

Josephine A. Libero, of Oyster Bay, died peacefully at home on Jan. 21, 2006. Wife of the late Richard. Mother of Richard D. and Gilda A. Grandmother of Paul, Elizabeth, Katherine and Josephine. Sister of Ida Zarro, Leonore Hornung, Liberty Restaino (Anthony), Mafalda Garges (William) and the late Julia Mumolo, Florence LaPenna and Michael Zarro. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Dominic's RC Chapel. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park.

Tony was born and raised in Oyster Bay in a family of nine children. At age 17, he enlisted in the US Navy and served aboard the USS Langley during WWII. For his exceptional service as a turret gunner in battles in the Pacific, he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross.

In 1952, He married his beautiful wife of 53 years, Miriam. The couple has resided in Locust Valley where they raised their 12 children: Robin (Dennis) Noonan, Laura (Joe) Feffer, Diane (Hock-Soon) Goh, Anthony, Jr. (Allison), Regina (Nick) Muzante, Jane (John) Schimoler, Lawrence, Amy, Beth (Frank) Cipriano, Heidi (Eric) Hoehne, Tricia (Julio) Cardona, Marc. In 1975 he was awarded the distinction of Father of the Year by a community newspaper.

Tony, a master carpenter/builder, constructed over 100 homes in the North Shore area. An avid gardener, clammer, and music lover, "Poppy" always took time to sing a nursery rhyme and bounce one of his 23 grandchildren on his knee. He was a generous, loving, hardworking man. His simple, practical lifestyle and straightforward honest manner were admired by all. The joy of his company and outstanding sense of humor will be greatly missed.

Arrangements were made by the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home, Oyster Bay. Funeral Mass at St. Dominic's RC Chapel. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery.

Tor Bjerkholt, 58, of Oyster Bay, died on Jan. 26, 2006. Husband of Toril. Father of Linn DeCarolis (Danny), Sean (Robin), Michael and Christopher. Papa of Ryan and Brandon. Brother of Grete Nordheim. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral service with Rev. Jeffrey D. Prey officiating. Interment private.
