How Well Do You Know the Area?
Do you know where this week's picture was taken? If you do, call the Enterprise-Pilot at 747-8282 and let us know. If you have a picture that you think might be interesting for others to guess, drop it off in our box at Raynham Hall Museum, 20 East Main St., Oyster Bay.

Billy Minicozzi called to identify the mystery picture in the Jan. 5 issue of the Oyster Bay Enterprise Pilot. He said, "It's two boys fishing near the boat ramp at Roosevelt Park."

Actually it is a picture taken by Robert Fitzpatrick of boys fishing off the pier at the western waterfront, near the WaterFront Center, which is near the boat ramps at Roosevelt Park.

We called the WaterFront Center to be sure of the location and Anne Coneys confirmed that the picture was taken before the work was complete - therefore there is no fence separating the boys from the water. That fence is now up and everything is looking great, she said.

Billy wished a happy birthday to Town of Oyster Bay foreman Billy Starke on Saturday, Jan. 7. On a sports note he said, "Go Giants!"
