Billy Minicozzi called to identify the mystery picture in the Dec. 22 issue of the Oyster Bay Enterprise Pilot. "Its Buckingham's the five and ten cent store in Oyster Bay near town hall," he said, correctly.
On a sports note he said, "Johnny Damon, former star player with the Red Sox will be playing centerfield for the Yankees. The Yankees want him to cut his hair, which is long." The New York Yankees have a dress code for the men who wear their pin stripes.
Sawyer Mitchell called and said, "It's the windows of Buckingham's. I know because I walk by there a lot," she said. Her mom Tucker, said Merry Christmas! We all agreed they look wonderful.
"It's Buckingham department store's new window.. They just redid it. I like it," said Donna Martin. "Have a great holiday," she added.
"It's a picture of the Five and Ten," said Rosemary Mavros. "I was in their shopping. Merry Christmas."
