Horst A. Ankermann of Bayville died on November 27, 2005. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Ankermann and the loving father of Thomas (Candace) and Rolf (Katharine).

He was the cherished grandfather of Tracie, Jett, Dayna, Dash and Kyle. He was the dear brother of Lore Blasé.

Visiting was at the DeVine Funeral Home. A religious service was held on Tuesday. There was a private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Elinor M. Sanzoverino of Bayville died on Nov. 30, 2005 at the age of 77. Beloved wife of the late Eugene. Loving mother of Joyce Encarncion (Henry), Jane Tenaglia (Joseph), and the late Linda Jean.

Cherished grandmother of JonHenry, David, Jaclyn, Marisa, and Christina. Dear sister of John Ritchie, and Elizabeth Melissa. Special sister-in-law of Frances Bartolotto. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visiting was at the Oyster Bay Funeral Home on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 3 and 4. A funeral service was held at St. Gertrude R.C. Church, Bayville on Monday, Dec. 5 with the interment at Holy Rood Cemetery.
