Jeannie Townsend Knows Oyster Bay

Jeannie Townsend called to identify the mystery picture in the Oct. 20 issue of the Enterprise Pilot. "It's the defunct Poseidon restaurant in Bayville," she said correctly.

Billy Minicozzi, too, recognized the location and said, "It's a statue of a woman in Bayville across from Ransom Beach, on the same side of Bayville Avenue at the miniature golf course and Ralph's Pizza." On a sports note, he said the White Sox will win the World Series.
