Jack Sheich called and identified the Sept. 15 mystery picture as, "The boat ramp at Roosevelt Park. I've been anticipating getting a new boat and scoping it out." He is the president of the Committee for the Beautification of East Norwich and said he was happy with the flowers in the median, now that the water is getting to that area. He said the CBEN is having more memorial trees put in.
Billy Minicozzi too said it was the boat ramp in Oyster Bay.
Jack Hutchinson said, "The picture was taken at Roosevelt Park, looking at the boat ramps. It's a giveaway with the Nantucket in the left in the photograph."
Belle Santora said "It's my Roosevelt Park where the boat ramps are, looking across at Shore Road, where the boats come and go."
Tucker Mitchell said, "It's at Roosevelt Beach. I run by it every day. It's by the park, where the boats are. My son rows nearby, at Beekman Beach."
The photograph was taken at sunset at the Theodore Roosevelt Park. You are all correct!
