This fun event will benefit the over 1,800 children and adults with disabilities who participate in programs and receive services through the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County, Inc. (ucpn).
The honorary chairpersons are Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor John Venditto and New York State Assemblyman Harvey Weisenberg. The organizers anticipate many brave individuals from the community will take the plunge in an effort to raise funds for ucpn! Corporate sponsorship is welcome.
With Supervisor Venditto as a co-chairperson of the event, they hope that many Oyster Bay residents will come out to Theodore Roosevelt Park to show their support. Advance registration is requested for the swim.
For information about participation as a swimmer or a sponsor, please contact Charles Evdos, development director, ucpn at (516) 378-2000 ext. 648. You can also visit www.ucpn.org for more information and registration forms.
