Mary M. Waldron, of Locust Valley, died on Dec. 12, 2004. Wife of the late Sherwood. Stepmother of Sherwood Jr., Frederick, Trina and Linda Rudman. Sister of the late Mallory (Fifi) Mixsell. Grandmother of Paul, Nina, Karen, Alex, Rachel, Jennifer, Caroline, Wendy, Allison, Benjamin and Alexander. Great-grandmother of nine. Service and interment conducted privately by the Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove.

Elaine Persans, of Oyster Bay, died on Dec. 20, 2004. Wife of the late David. Mother of Gail Walker, Peter, Laura Hescock, Beth Dalton and the late Cathy Selchick. Grandmother of 10. Sister of Andrew and Daniel Carril. Arrangements were made by the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home, Oyster Bay. Interment Lutheran Cemetery.

George H. Howard Jr., 79, of Locust Valley, died on Dec. 22, 2004. Husband of Gloria H. for 59 years. Father of George H. III, Lucile H. Tamoney and Victoria B. Brother of Elizabeth H. Mathiasen. Grandfather of George H. IV, Livingston G. and Heidi S. Arrangements were made by the Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Service to be held at St. John's of Lattingtown on Jan. 18 at 10:45 a.m. Donations may be made to NSUH at Glen Cove, Critical Care Dept.

Marjorie Ruth Trousdell, MD died on Dec. 22, 2004. Born on July 14, 1916, she graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University in 1937 and the LI College of Medicine in 1946. She married Dr. James Trousdell in August 1948. Dr. Marjorie Trousdell's specialty was pathology. She was on the staff of Mercy Hospital, retiring in 1981. She is survived by her husband whose specialty was internal medicine. He practiced in Oyster Bay retiring in 1990. Mother of Barbara Franceschini, James Trousdell Jr., Elizabeth Trousdell and Bruce Trousdell. Also survived by six granddaughters and one great-grandson. Arrangements were made by the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home, Oyster Bay. Interment Youngs Memorial Cemetery.

Sharon L. Nunziata (nee Thompson), 43, of Bayville, died on Dec. 24, 2004. Daughter of Ronald W. Thomas and the late Mary Ann Thompson. Mother of Nicole. Sister of Ronnie (Vicki), Steven (Lori), Denise Connolly (Jamie) and Billy (Marie). Aunt of Christopher, Bryan, Kelly, Samantha, Lauren, Ronnie, Jeanie Marie, Frankie, Jamie, Jason, Jeffrey, Josh and Jennifer. Also survived by many relatives and friends. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery. Donations to her family would be appreciated.

Joseph P. Strigaro, 75, of Bayville, died on Dec. 29, 2004. Husband of Janet. Father of Stephen, Jeffrey, Sharon, Kenneth and Edward. Pop-pop of 19. He will be sadly missed by his sister Millie and brother Frank. He served his country during the Korean War and was the recipient of a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. He retired from Grumman in 1990. He is also a 47-year member of the Bayville Fire Company. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Firematic services at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gertrude's RC Church. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery.
