Friends Academy is extremely proud of its fall student/athletes. The girls varsity field hockey team won the Long Island championship and proceeded to the New York State semi-finals; the boys varsity soccer team was Nassau County Conference champions, and the girls varsity soccer team won the Nassau County Class C championship. Friends competes in Section VIII of the Nassau County Public School Athletic League. In addition, several Friends athletes received Nassau County recognition.

The Friends Academy girls varsity soccer team, Nassau County Class C Champions: Tiffany Cahill, Annie Cook, Kimberly White, Ailsa Pierrepont, Lisa Barnett, Gia Vigliotti, Laura Ahern, Brooke Silverstein, Alexis Maruca, Cindy LaPlaige, Teale Clark, Tracy Barnett, Noelle Ventresca, Liz Pavlovich, Pam Bebry and Emily Ocner. Receiving Nassau County honors were: Teale Clark, Scholar/Athlete and All Conference; Alexis Maruca, all Class C and Liz Pavlovih, Scholar/Athlete. Coached by Gail Baker and Coach Dick Abbene.

The Friends Academy boys varsity soccer team, Nassau County Conference champions: Andre Giocondi, Scott Witthuhn, Andre Martin, Rob Aaron, Matt Grimes, J.J. Emru, Shea Trott, Brian Witthuhn, Brett Gottlieb, Tom Reinwald, Joe Jalber, Glenn Silverstein, Sam Eisner, Dan Baker, Ben Ryan and Matt Donoghue. Receiving Nassau County honors were: Dan Baker, All County and Conference NVP; Shea Trott, All County; Scott Witthuhn, Ben Ryan and Sam Eisner, All Division and Tom Reinwald, County Championship MVP. In addition, Coach Marshall Lindner was named Nassau County Conference Coach of the Year. Coached by Mike Drew and Marshall Lindner.

The Friends Academy varsity football team finished in fifth place with a record of 5-3. The team missed the play-offs by only one power point. Receiving county honors were: Jonathan Koenig, All County; Eric Vidal, All County Honorable Mention; Rob Abney and Mike Cox, All Conference; and Denis O'Kane, unsung hero. In addition, Jon Koenig was honored by the National Football Foundation as Nassau County Chapter, 2003 Top Scholar Athlete and by Citibank/News 12 as a Long Island Scholar/Athlete.

The Friends Academy cross country team: Alex DiIorio, Peter Karches, Sean Byrnes, Justin Williams, Brandon Dottin, Nano Fabuss, coach Mike DeSchryver, Greg Stein, Liz Alber, Maia Collier, Joanna Kourkoumelis, Robin Phipps, Keegan Calligar, Erik Arnesen, Kara Tully, Megan Cronin and Henry Jen. Receiving Nassau County honors were: Justin Williams, New York State qualifier and All Division; and Liz Alber, All Division. Coached by Meghan Acuri-Moran.

The Friends Academy girls varsity tennis team: Loren Lostritto, Jacquie Palma, Lyndsey Lostritto, Samantha Moss, Dianna Sher, Lauren Sugarman, Julie Brown, Ilana Cohen, Brittany Brock, Helen Hatch, Sarah Nelkin, Stephanie Kjelleren. Receiving Nassau County honors were: Lyndsey Lostritto and Ilana Cohen, All State and All County; Helen Hatch, Sarah Nelkin and Julia Browne, All Conference; Brittany Brock and Stephanie Kjelleren, All Division and Lauren Sugarman, Sportsmanship Award. Coached by Kristin Fullam.
