There is such excitement this time of year. This is really the season of giving and we think that is where the joy emanates from. We have always heard it is more blessed to give than to receive, but it's great to receive too.

We have been enjoying shopping - something that is usually not our favorite thing to do - and it is so great to see something that just yells out to you that it is perfect for a friend or loved one.

There is such joy in finding just the right thing for the right person. When you don't have to wonder if they will like it - you just know it has their name on it - metaphorically speaking of course. Maybe that is a big part of the joy of the season, being sure you have made someone happy.

Receiving gifts is wonderful too, when your friends know you and give you things they know you will love. It's so great to say thank you from the heart. What a super season it is. Aren't we lucky!
