How Well Do You Know the Area? Do you know where this week's picture was taken? If you do, call the Enterprise-Pilot at 747-8282 and let us know. If you have a picture that you think might be interesting for others to guess, drop it off in our box at Pleasant Valley Gallery & Gifts, 101 South Street, Oyster Bay.

Billy Minicozzi correctly identified the picture of children playing in hay as being taken at the Jakobson Shipyard. The photograph was taken by Betty Tiska. It was taken at the waterfront area during last year's Oyster Festival. The children are having a great time.
We had a very good guess from Evan Schreiber, of Friends Academy who said, Planting Fields. Since they have a great fall festival we could have believed the answer too.
Last week we didn't have time to put the correct dates on the mystery picture answers we received by e-mail. There were just hundreds of e-mails to go through - we get a lot of SPAM! So this week, we wanted to acknowledge some great answers. We received an e-mail entry for the Nov. 27 issue. "The picture in the Nov. 27 Enterprise Pilot is from the interior of Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club on Centre Island. The room contains the personal signals (i.e. Flags), from the member's yachts.
"How do I know? My husband, Mark was a member and we met at SCYC! I really enjoy seeing the pictures every week and reminiscing! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving," wrote Anne Marie (McEvoy) Fallek.
Another e-mail arrived solving the Nov. 6 issue mystery picture that took an extra week to identify. "Just wanted to let you know it was Raynham Hall in the picture with a view from where the old Italian-American Club was located. Keep up the good work and say hello to my old classmate Levon Ashby who also enjoys seeing the mystery pictures," said Tony Pilla Anniston of Alabama.
