Barbara Harley Knows Oyster Bay

Barbara Harley called to identify the photograph in the Oct. 23 Oyster Bay Enterprise Pilot. She said, "It is Centre Island Beach. It is the Oak Neck Athletic Council new building that is going up."

Billy Minicozzi also recognized the locale. He said, "It's Centre Island Beach where the Oak Neck football team plays their home games on Sundays." He also wanted to wish a "happy retirement" to Gloria Williams who is retiring from the Town of Oyster Bay Highway Department. Billy is looking forward to a winter with very little snow. "I hope it only snows two or three inches," he said.

Eve Pinolla also recognized the photo and located it exactly. "It's the Oak Neck Boys & Girls Club building on Bayville Avenue, between West Harbor and Centre Island," she said.
