James M. Kenny Sr. a lifelong resident of Oyster Bay, died on May 3, 2003 in Missouri. He had spent the last few years with his daughter, Sharon Didden in Missouri. He was a 47-year member of Oyster Bay Fire Co. #1 and a member of the Oyster Bay Volunteer & Exempts Fireman's Benevolent Association. Jim is survived by his daughter, Sharon; his son, James Jr.; his beloved grandchildren, Sean, Colleen, Hannah, Robert and Mary; his brothers, Jack, Martin, Christopher and Michael; and his sister Mary Ellen. Arrangements were made by the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home, Oyster Bay. Firematic services were held at the funeral home. Memorial Mass at St. Dominic's RC Chapel. Interment of cremains LI National Cemetery at Pinelawn.
Angeline Dagrosa (nee Tavernese), 84, a lifelong resident of Oyster Bay, died on Sept. 28, 2003. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph. Aunt of the Alfano and Tavernese families. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Mass at St. Dominic's RC Church. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery.
Mary Jane Welch, 79, of Woodbury, formerly of Syracuse, NY, died on Sept. 29, 2003. Wife of the late Thomas E. Mother of Thomas M. Welch, Marybeth Solomon (Michael) and Lisa Welch. Grandmother of Andrew, Rachel, Sarah and Jack. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's RC Church, Syracuse.
