George "Boot" West, 90, lifelong resident of Bayville, died on Aug. 30, 2003. He was a member and ex-chief of the Bayville Fire Co. for over 65 years. He was a member of Matinecock Lodge #806. Husband of the late Madeline. Father of Karen and Lloyd (Melissa). Grandfather of Laura Mullalley (Rob), Eric Deutsch (Robin), Adam Swicicki, Jason Swicicki (Tara), Dawn Swicicki and the late William "Devins" Swicicki. Great-grandfather of Shawnta, Alexis, AJ, Zachary and Corey. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Firematic service held at the funeral home. Funeral service at the Village Church of Bayville. Interment Memorial Cemetery of St. John's Church, Laurel Hollow. Evelyn Cavaretta (nee Famulari), 60, of East Norwich, died on Aug. 31, 2003. Mother of Joseph (Michele), Karen (Patrick) Maloney and John (Donna). Grandmother of Anthony, Taylor, Stephanie and John.
