The WaterFront Center floating dock was the site of the opening press conference for Oyster Festival 2003. It was the perfect venue, with the Christeen oyster sloop as a focal point because the big news is that this festival will be held on the waterfront.

Oyster Bay Town Supervisor's Run Kicks Off Oyster Festival Again
Runners, walkers and wheelchair athletes of every age and ability are cordially invited to be part of the 16th annual edition of the Oyster Bay Town Supervisor's Oyster Festival 5 Kilometer Run, to be held on Saturday morning, Oct. 18, as the kickoff event of this year's Oyster Festival. The run will start in Fireman's Field in Oyster Bay at exactly 9 a.m. on the morning of the 18th.

Beth Faughnan in Chase Corporate Challenge
Attorneys and staff from the law firm of Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C. joined over 8,000 other runners from more than 250 companies at the Chase Corporate Challenge on July 29, at Jones Beach. The 18th annual event was attended by over 75 competitive runners and walkers and their supporters from Meyer, Suozzi, including Locust Valley resident Beth Faughnan; Jericho resident, Lynn Brown; and Glen Head residents Donnalynn Darling and Beth Murphy (pictured left to right in the attached photograph.) Ms. Murphy clocked in with the firm's fastest time ever, 26:31.
