Billy Minicozzi identified the mystery picture in the July 10 issue of the Oyster Bay Enterprise Pilot. He said, "It's a man in an old ship in Oyster Bay harbor." Billy said he has a new job with the town. He is working for the Capital Equipment department and has been moving things for the town's summer camp program for kids. He has also been working on the lettering for town trucks. As for sports: he is still rooting for the Mets.

Herb Schierhorst aced the mystery picture. "It's the Captain of the Nina, taken at the waterfront." (Actually, we think it was a crew member: just for accuracy's sake.)

The mystery Phantom caller, said, "It looks like the deck of the Nina that was visiting Oyster Bay two weeks ago."

The mystery photograph was taken by Robert Fitzpatrick. He takes beautiful pictures!

We received two answers to last week's mystery picture that needed some clarification. Dorothy Titus of Locust Valley filled in the blanks. "Last week's mystery picture was the party for Friends of the Bay at Sagamore Yacht Club. That's the reggae band playing reggae music. It was a great party!"

We also received an e-mail from William Durban of Centre Island. He said, "I noticed the Mystery Picture from last week has yet to be identified. I recognized it last week, but failed to make a phone call or send an email. The picture was taken at Sagamore Yacht Club on Saturday, June 28. The band was playing Reggae/Calypso style music. Despite the blazingly hot afternoon, it was enjoyable event."

For the next two weeks, the Mystery Picture will not be answered. We will be on vacation and when we return the photographs from July 24 and 31 will be identified in the Aug. 7 issue of the newspaper. So keep on guessing. It keeps us all young!
