How Well Do You Know the Area? Do you know where this week's picture was taken? If you do, call the Enterprise-Pilot at 747-8282 and let us know. If you have a picture that you think might be interesting for others to guess, drop it off in our box at Pleasant Valley Gallery & Gifts, 101 South Street, Oyster Bay.

Jack Hutchinson called to identify the mystery picture in the April 24 issue of the Oyster Bay Enterprise Pilot. "It was taken at the Oyster Bay Park on April 3 at the Support Our Troops Rally," he said.
Fran Raymond called to say, "The picture is of the Rally in the park to support the troops. I was there. It was kind of chilly but it was great!"
Billy Minicozzi looked at the picture with the eyes of a fireman and said, adding another dimension to the answer: "It's the two hook and ladder companies with the American flag between them. It was for the guys in Iraq." He said, "It's been a very cold winter, but spring is finally here. I hope we have a nice hot summer."
We failed to mention two people who correctly identified the April 10 picture of the Crescent Club in the past issues, Mr. Boisits and Nancy Marmorale, who also know Oyster Bay!
We also received an e-mail from Peter Higgins, formerly of Oyster Bay, who is now living in Juno Beach, Florida, for about 2 1/2 years. Last week he guessed the mystery picture correctly as being White's Creek. He said, "I receive the paper here but it's usually a week late, so just for fun, I went online to get a shot at the Mystery Photo."
We love to hear from you, early or late, it's always the right time to hear from an Oyster Bay friend. There are a great many who have found a home in Florida. Probably because there's water all around it!
