Robert I. Bennett Jr., a lifelong resident of East Norwich, died on March 8, 2003, at the age of 80. He was a member of the East Norwich Fire Company for over 60 years. Father of Carol Brower and Richard Bennett. Grandfather of Kerry Hritsik, Scott Brower, Richard Bennett and Kristen Walker. Great-grandfather of Kayleigh. Brother of Lawrence and Joan. Anne Bridget Oates, 82, of Locust Valley, died on March 15, 2003. She was a manager for LILCO for 45 years. Sister of Julie Smith, the late James and William. Mary A. Wilenski (nee Keegan), 85, formerly of Oyster Bay, died on March 18, 2003. Wife of the late William. Aunt of the late Thomas Keegan, Thomas and Edward Wilenski, Carolyn Babcock (Keegan), Evie Mayes (Keegan) and Anita Keegan. Also survived by several grand-nieces and nephews.
