John LoRusso solved the mystery picture from March 13, which has been languishing, unsolved. "It's the gazebo at the Senior Garden at the Oyster Bay High School," he said. "I remember when going to the high school, I saw them building it."
Paul Keller called to ID the photo in the March 20 issue of the Oyster Bay Enterprise Pilot: "It's the IGA parking lot on Bayville Avenue, where the Food Basket Grocery Store is located. You can see the pile of snow as you enter or leave the parking lot.
Billy Minicozzi too recognized the snowy picture. He said, "The mystery photo is a pile of snow at the Food Basket shopping center lot in Bayville. His prediction of the war with Iraq is that it will take between two to six months. Mr. Minicozzi is looking forward to the college football season which began recently. He predicts the Final Four will be Kentucky, Duke, Notre Dame and Arizona State. He's happy spring is finally here!
Terry McDonald said, "The picture is the gazebo in the Senior Garden at the Oyster Bay High School.
"It's the IGA parking lot," said April Gatti, of Bayville. She and her husband Vincent have two sons, Luke and Paul.
