Muriel G. Allen (nee Gifford), of Muttontown, died on Feb. 6, 2003. Wife of the late Warren. Mother of James W. Mother-in-law of Jane. Grandmother of Kevin, Douglas and Erin. Sister of Doris White. Arrangements were made by the Beney Funeral Home, Syosset. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Warren J. Richard W. McWalters, 51, of Bayville, formerly of East Norwich, died on Feb. 7, 2003. Husband of Susan C. Father of Lisa Mallgraf (Greg), John Thomas, Michael, Richard Jr., Patrick and Tara. Son of Eleanor Ford and the late John T. McWalters. Brother of Dr. Maureen Orsen (Andrew) and Ellen Mullaly (Kevin). Also survived by many relatives and friends. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Dominic's RC Chapel. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery. Donations can be made to St. Dominic's CYO Basketball or the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society.

Tyson Colby Smith, 21, of Naples, FL, died on Feb. 8, 2003. He was born in Plainview and moved with his family to Naples in 1984. Tyson had many passions and accomplishments in his short life. He experienced more than some will ever accomplish and for this, we are extremely thankful. Tyson loved adventure and traveling. Because of this, he has friends who will sorely miss him all over the world.

An avid car enthusiast, Tyson's mechanical abilities and perfection astounded all. At 15 years old, Tyson purchased a 1970 Chevelle, which he restored and rebuilt. One of the many cherished moments of Tyson's, that he and his father attended, was preparing for the annual Turkey Rod Run in Daytona. The time spent together will be forever remembered.

In the sport of gymnastics, Tyson was the first athlete in Florida to represent the USA in Trampoline Tumbling. Tyson competed and traveled nationally and internationally winning seven national titles, three international titles and was an All-American three times.

Tyson is survived by his parents, Craig and Carole Smith and sister Brooke; maternal grandparents, Audrey and William Hauck of Naples; his paternal grandfather, Wilbert Smith of Oyster Bay. He was predeceased by his loving grandmother, Grayce LoBianco Smith, who is taking care of him now. Immediate family are Mark Smith, children Michael and Lindsay; William Hauck, children Amy and Samantha; Paul and Kim Smith, children Jason, Paul, Caitlin and Taylor; Dwayne and Sharon Hauck, children Lindsay, Meredith and Alaire; Dawn and Edward Wilezewski, children Brianne, Lauren, Krista; and many other relatives and dear friends.

Arrangements were made by the Fuller Funeral Home, Naples. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Church, Naples. The family deeply thanks, in advance, all of those who have supported them through their loss. In lieu of flowers, the family will be setting up a scholarship (s) fund in memory of Tyson or request donations be made to an organization or charity of your choice.

Lucienne Piro, 95, of NYC, formerly of Oyster Bay, died on Feb. 6, 2003. Wife of the late Frank. Mother of Carlos Salgado. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Chapel service at Memorial Cemetery of St. John's Church, Laurel Hollow, with Rev. Malcolm Burns officiating.

Regina M. Rich, lifelong resident of Oyster Bay, died on Feb. 9, 2003. Wife of the late Michael F. Mother of Michael Jr. (Rosemary). Grandmother of Rosemarie and Michael F. III. Sister of Mary Raggio, Dorothy LaPorte, Albert and Robert Horton and the late Rosalie Malesky, George and Daniel Horton, Rita Ranaldo and Esther Galasso. Sister-in-law of Marie (Babe) Murphy. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home, Oyster Bay. Funeral Mass at St. Dominic's RC Chapel. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to the AHRC, 189 Wheatley Rd., Brookville, NY 11545.

Estelle Callahan, 85, of East Norwich, died on Feb. 10, 2003. Husband of the late Robert. Sister of Clara Albers (Fred). Also survived by nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Interment Calverton National Cemetery.
