The second-graders played a tough series of games on Saturday to conclude the fall season. Four games were played back to back with the boys getting little rest from the fierce competition. All of the Boys played with tremendous intensity, great sportsmanship and had a lot of fun. Congratulations to the Raging Rhinos who finished the day with two wins and claimed the first place trophies.
Raging Rhinos Vs Rough Riders resulted in a 3-2 win for the Rhinos. Matthew Del Rosso played a tough offensive game while Mackenzie Blanz pulled together the defense. Ryan Gouse scored 2 goals while Keegan Petersen provided the necessary defense as keeper for the Rhinos.
Vipers Vs Sounders came to an end with a 3-2 in favor of the Vipers. Brian Levchuck played a tough quarter in goal and Austin Seaman provided a coordinated offense for the Sounders. A.J. Core, Tyler Ozkan and Kevin Rubio provided the offensive power finding some incredible passing opportunities for the Vipers while Tommy Grgas and Brian Kowalczyk had some great save as keepers for the Vipers.
Sounders Vs Rough Riders ended in a 3-1 victory for the Sounders. Dennis Bitter dominated the defense for Riders and Liam Kearney played a great game on offensive. Ryan Sommi and Quinn Mc Quade lead the sounders on offense opening the scoring opportunities they needed. Ian Boznyack played a great game.
Raging Rhinos Vs Vipers concluded with the Rhinos winning 6-1. Outstanding offense from Augie Jones and Gerry Valasques was the key to the Rhinos offense. Daniel Iannetta, John Grace and Tyler Douglas played a tough game into the ending whistle never giving up. Brian Slivonik coordinated the defense and provided outstanding offensive backup in the Vipers comeback attempt.
