Ellen Von Novak (nee O'Brien), 64, of Oyster Bay, died on Oct. 17, 2002. She was a retired English teacher from Locust Valley High School. Wife of William. Mother of William Jr., Anne Logan (Sean) and Catherine Negroni (Xavier). Grandmother of Elizabeth, Michael, Katie, Brian and Baby Jack. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Christina Clancy, of Oyster Bay, died on Oct. 19, 2002. Wife of the late Peter. Mother of Peter (Lynn), Christopher and Sr. Kathleen Clancy IHM. Grandmother of Thomas. Mary Weir died on Oct. 21, 2002. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland. Wife of the late George. Mother of Anne Marie (John) Clerkin. Grandmother of John, Patricia, Jennifer and Steven. Thomas P. Baldwin, 79, of East Norwich, died on Oct. 21, 2002. Hew as a retired captain with FDNY Rescue One and a member of Oyster Bay K of C Council #1206. He was born in Waterford, Ireland. Husband of the late Jean. Father of Constance, Paul, Lorraine, Joseph (Nancy), Claire (Christopher) and the late Marian. Grandfather of Alicia Biggart, Collin and Taylor Baldwin. Also survived by many other relatives. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Dominic's RC Chapel. Interment LI National Cemetery. Joseph M. Cardinale, 73, of East Norwich, died on Oct. 21, 2002. He was a retired Town of Oyster Bay deputy receiver of taxes, ex-chief and past president of East Norwich Volunteer Fire Co. #1, an active member of the East Norwich Republican Club and Mill River Rod and Gun Club. Husband of the late Anne. Uncle of Richard Ranaldo. Also survived by many relatives and friends. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Dominic's RC Chapel.
