Fredric R. Coudert Sports Complex Opens
Tuesday, Oct. 29 was a great day for the children of the Bronx. At the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club that day, there was a party to celebrate the opening of the second part of the Fredric R. Coudert Sports Complex. Mr. Coudert, known locally as Fritz Coudert of Cove Neck, is the president of the board of the WaterFront Center in Oyster Bay. Active in philanthropy in New York City and in many organizations in Oyster Bay, he believes in being actively involved with projects he supports financially.

Chelsea Center In Good Hands
Nassau County is involved in arranging for the future of Chelsea Center in Muttontown. Starting with the current Designer's Showcase 2002 and the Holiday Mansions Show and with the organization of a new group, the Friends of Muttontown Preserve, the county is working to preserve the Gold Coast mansion for the education and enjoyment of future citizens.

Our sailboat is out of the water for the winter, and we have another sailing season and some wonderful memories of this past summer behind us. Some of our most exciting sails took place during the Wednesday Night Sailboat Racing Series in Oyster Bay.

Run Kicks Off Oyster Fest 2002
Nearly 600 runners from all over Long Island and beyond journeyed to Oyster Bay on Saturday morning, Oct. 19 to help kick off the 2002 Oyster Festival in style with the Town Supervisor's 5 Kilometer Run.
