Husband of Joan (nee Hornosky). Father of John (Cheryl), Gregory (Anna), Jeffrey (Marcela). Pop-pop of Jessica, Victoria, Pia and Montsy. Brother of Lena DeCarlo. Uncle of Joseph and Linda Wagner. Joseph A. Townsend, of Oyster Bay, died on Oct. 16, 2002. He was a volunteer at North Shore University Hospital at Glen Cove. Husband of the late Emma. Father of Anthony (Susan), Andrea and the late Ricardo. Grandfather of seven. Brother of Edith Simmons and Louise Chapman. Brother-in-law of Mary Hicks and Rachel Stratton.
