Heard on the Bay
It's fall, and the clock is quickly ticking on the time left to enjoy our nautical toys. A few weeks ago, we sailed to City Island for the first time. We love sailing to a new destination, especially one rich in nautical history. City Island fits the bill and also offers a huge variety of restaurants and many marinas and clubs with moorings to choose from. If we didn't live in Oyster Bay, Oyster Bay would be one of our favorite ports. Oyster Bay has it all, plus a beautiful park and revitalized Waterfront Center.
Oyster Bay East Norwich Soccer Club News
On Oct. 12 our intramural games were cancelled due to the presence of Tropical Storm Kyle off the coast of Long Island. Our Travel teams and Tournament teams were also affected by the weather with many of those games also being called off. The Club is now focused on the Oyster Festival next weekend. Many parents will be working at the popular booths that the Soccer Club has at the festival. Our Individual Clinic is scheduled to start up after a Columbus Day break Monday, Oct. 21. Additional information can be located on the web at WWW.OBENSOCCER.ORG.
Be Sure to Come!
