Making Dreams Come True
Although Brooke Jackman is no longer alive to pursue her dream of helping children, but through the Brooke Jackman Literacy Foundation her dream will come true. Ms. Jackman, 23, was at work at her new job at Cantor Fitzgerald when the World Trade Center was attacked on September 11. She was a graduate of Oyster Bay High School and a resident of Mill Neck.

TR's Medal of Honor Returns to White House
The last chapter in the long story of Theodore Roosevelt's Medal of Honor was concluded on Monday, Sept. 16, when Tweed Roosevelt, great grandson of TR, presented the Medal of Honor to President George W. Bush in the Roosevelt Room of the White House to become a permanent part of the White House historical collection.

Heard on the Bay
Our previous article left off with Shelley Sue and me pulling away from the dock in Tortola, in the British Virgin Islands on our first Bare Boat Charter. We had charts, cruising guides, aerial photos of the anchorages, and suggested itineraries of islands for the week long vacation. Yet, when we finally untied from the dock and pulled away, we didn't know where we were going to go for our first night out.
