OBHS Students Receive Baseball Awards
Oyster Bay High School had five students awarded at the Nassau County Baseball Awards Dinner on June 5. In Division C: Mike Piper (junior): All-Conference; George Gowe (junior): All-Conference; Dustin Abbate (senior); All-County; Coach Jay Davis; Doug Anderson (senior): All-County, MVP, nominated for the Diamond Award (top player of Nassau County); and Mike Cazzola (freshman): All-Division.

Spring Bocce Leagues Having Fun
The Spring Bocce Leagues are playing their games in the courts behind the Italian-American Club on Summit Street. The men's and women's leagues were both out on Wednesday, June 19. There are four players to a team. The game begins when they throw a small white ball into the court. The teams play with red or green balls and try to come in close to the first ball. Scores are kept on a board similar to a cribbage board.
