Heard on the Bay
We've have been sailing for nine years. We are not writing this column as authorities, in fact, we are usually fair weather sailors. We have always kept a log on all of our time spent on the water. Even if all we did was pick up dinner-to-go from Mario's Italian restaurant, rush out to the boat, sail into West Harbor, eat dinner, and watch a sunset before returning home. Just a few hours out on the water, and there is usually something special to write in our log. Our goal is to share a little of what we have experienced on the water and in our homeport, Oyster Bay Harbor.
