Friends of the Bay Files FOIL for Western Waterfront Plans
Friends of the Bay has filed a formal request under New York state's Freedom of Information Law for immediate access to any and all plans for the Land Use Plan for the Oyster Bay Western Waterfront.

Norwich Gates Tenants Need Help
Some residents of Norwich Gates are afraid of losing their homes. Concerned about their future, they have formed the Norwich Gates Tenants Association and are trying to be sure that they can continue to live there. They are recipients of Chapter 8 funding from the US Department of Housing Urban Development and Norwich Gates has informed them they do not intend to continue to process their rent vouchers.

Erin Egan Earns Spot on ECAC Honor Roll
For the second time in three weeks, Cortland senior guard/forward Erin Egan (Oyster Bay) has been selected to the ECAC Division III Upstate New York honor roll. Egan averaged 16.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game and shot 41 percent (11 of 27) from three-point range during a 3-0 week for the Red Dragons. She scored 17 points, grabbed eight rebounds and handed out six assists in a 66-47 win over Geneseo on Feb. 1. She also scored 17 points in a 61-46 win versus Fredonia on Feb. 2 and 16 points in a 76-35 win at Utica/Rome on Jan. 29. Egan leads the Red Dragons in scoring this season at 14.8 points per game and is second in rebounding at 5.3 per game.
