Helena M. Cieciuch died on Nov. 26, 2001 at the Mary Manning Walsh Home in NYC. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Bernadette Cieciuch of East Norwich (RichBern Travel in Oyster Bay); a daughter, Sister Jorene Cieciuch, OP; and is predeceased by her son L. Robert Cieciuch Charles. Also surviving is her daughter-in-law, Barbara; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made by the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home, Oyster Bay. Funeral Mass on Nov. 28 at the Mary Manning Walsh Chapel by the Rev. Raymond Shroth, SJ, a close friend of the family and former Fordham classmate of Richard's. A collation of family and friends followed the Mass. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Arlington, NJ.

Joan M. Adell, 69, of East Norwich, formerly of East Hills, died on Nov. 30, 2001. She was a member of the Reach for Recovery of the American Cancer Society and she received the Courage Award from Libby Pataki in 1995 for her contributions. Mother of Steven and the late Cathy Hertzberg. Grandmother of Joshua, Michael, Rachel, Amy and Emily. Sister of Anita Grupp. Interment New Montefiore Cemetery. Wife of Allan. Contributions can be made to the Don Monti Foundation, 300 Community Dr., Manhasset, NY.

Thomas H. D'Andre, 63, of Jericho, died on Dec. 1, 2001. Brother of Angelo and Mary Manna (Frank). Uncle of Frank Manna Jr., Kathleen Rotter and Angel Conceicao. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Children's Leukemia Research Association, Inc., 585 Stewart Ave., Garden City, NY 11599.

Helen C. Robinson (nee Rahilly), 97, a lifelong resident of Oyster Bay, died on Dec. 1, 2001. She was a life member and past district deputy of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Wife of the late NYS Supreme Court Justice Edward T. Robinson Jr. Mother of Edward T. Robinson III (Lynn), Suzanne Patrick (Rod) and Margaret Nelson (Jerry). Grandmother of 11. Great-grandmother of 12. Sister of Agnes Wood. Sister-in-law of Doris Rahilly and Ceil McCarthy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Dominic's RC Chapel. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Donations can be made to United Cerebral Palsy of NC, 380 Washington Ave., Roosevelt, NY 11575.

Stella C. Smith, of Oyster Bay, died on Dec. 1, 2001. Wife of the late Osmond. Mother of Marilyn Marchais (Pierre), Beverly Marks (John) and Patti Kennedy (Michael). Grandmother of nine. Great-grandmother of nine. Sister of Mary Vanossi (Peter) and the late John and Anthony Greguski. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Dominic's RC Chapel Interment St. John's Memorial Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, LI Chapter, 579 Monroe St., Cedarhurst, NY 11516.
