The Tornadoes lost to Bethpage 3:1 after a tight game which could have gone either way. Oyster Bay dominated the game for most of the time when Samantha Smith hit the crossbar for a narrowly missed goal. Elena Albanese kept piling on the pressure and was rewarded with the Tornadoes only goal in this match.

The Hurricanes tied Levittown Ladyriders 2:2 with goals scored by Rachel Buzzolese. Teammates Evie Pierrepont and Julie Albanese supplied the accurate feeders needed. The opposition played a very physical game knocking down Evie Pierrepont, Isabelle Mirman and Kristen Falcone during the match. The tough play, however, did not prevent Isabelle Mirman from supplying an outstanding game - having been knocked to the ground she regained her position and made a spectacular save after a Levittown breakaway.

The Stormers played at the league's home ground in Plainview and played a fine game against the Cold Spring Harbor Red Rage. They lost 2:1 to the more experienced team but showed great consistency, fitness and improved teamwork - with some exceptional saves from Morgan in goal. The team is newly formed this season having lost all but three of last year's roster. Meghan Blohm, Nicolette Giotta and Emma Lind are the veteran players, with 12 new girls joining the team under the enthusiastic guidance of Anne Blohm and Kim Gotti. Still looking for their first win but with several goals under their belts, fun training sessions and a growing camaraderie among them, this is a team to watch out for!

The Oyster Bay Blizzards defeated Garden City Flames 1:0. This victory was secured thanks to excellent defensive play from anchor Kelsey Todd and goalies Monique Kelly and Kat Fressie. Molly Kirkpatrick ran the ball down throughout the game but the lone goal was taken in magnificent style by Lizzy Abbondandolo from outside the 18 yard box!
