Billy Minicozzi identified the mystery picture as being Rothmann's on Route 106, which is near IHOP in East Norwich. He thanked Frank Mantegari, Jr. for the answer.

On a sports note, Billy was glad Michael Jordan is going to play basketball again. He is going to play for the LA Lakers and will be at the Garden on Oct. 30.

"God bless all the firemen who helped with the WTC bombing and then rescue efforts," he said. Also, our condolences to Billy on the loss of his uncle, Angelo Pascucci who died recently.

Steven Abelda of The Optitian at East Norwich said the photo is, "Rothmann's parking lot in the back, between the East Norwich Inn and the back of the restaurant. It's right across the street from me," he said.

"The Oyster Bay community mourns for those lost in the WTC tragedy. I knew Brooke Jackman really well. She was a customer here. She was so young. We'll just have to pray for all these people. Be well and God bless," he added.

Richard Downing called and said, "The picture is right behind Rothmann's parking lot where the employees park their cars.

"I will be eating there on Oct. 6." (That is his wedding anniversary.)

Katie called and said, "It's the back of Rothmann's."

Beatrice Weeks Cardinale called with a correction. Unfortunately we printed that her older children played with the Hanophy's. It was her older brothers! "My older brothers are in their 90s today. If it was my older children, I would be doing pretty well for a 200-year old," she quipped. Her brothers, Townsend, John and Edward, were teenagers when she was born. Her father was born in 1868. "We've been here a long time," she said.
