How Well Do You Know the Area? Do you know where this week's picture was taken? If you do, call the Enterprise-Pilot at 747-8282 and let us know. If you have a picture that you think might be interesting for others to guess, drop it off in our box at Village Camera, 128 South Street, Oyster Bay.

Last week's mystery picture is no longer a mystery. Steve Minicozzi of Cozy Realty called to say, "It's the back of the Meridian in Locust Valley. That is the black sign," he said. "It was taken from the back parking lot of Buckram Stables," he added correctly.

The picture in the April 19 issue was identified as: "It's Coe's estate, the greenhouse, the east entrance, the camellia house," said Cathy Guagenti. "I'm going there for a picnic on Friday, April 20." She is a regular there and told us that the camellias come out in February; the azaleas in the beginning of May and the roses are there in June!

Paul Chirichella said, "It's Planting Fields, one of those hot houses. There's a hibiscus bush out front," he said. "Do I get an extra point for that," he quipped. "Yes," we said.

He guessed at last week's saying it was the back of Reardon, Rapley, Mehlman and Lindner, but we told him no.

We told Mr. Chirichella that we had a call about the Town of Oyster Bay Bluefish Tournament, Sunday, Sept. 9. A local resident who has moved to Basel, Switzerland wanted to know the date because they plan to come back for that event. Mr. Chirichella is a member of the Oyster Bay Lions Club, and they traditionally run a Handicap Fishing Tournament that day too. "Good. It's a good time to get the word out that we need more money to run the tournament," he said. "Genovese used to be a sponsor but now J.C. Penney owns them."

Billy Minicozzi called with suggestions for the locations and ended with a "Go Mets" wish. "Good luck to the Mets in the playoffs. I hope they go all the way," said Billy.
