The Quality Communities Steering Committee met in mid-December to review the results of the open forum held at the Oyster Bay High School, Nov. 15. The group is fine tuning the information they have been gathering. Bridget Dugan of Fredrick P. Clark Associates will refine the goal statements and objectives defined at the meeting and will present a draft for their review. A technical committee will be formed to go over the goals. After a long wait, and a multitude of follow up calls, the new tourism map of Oyster Bay has arrived. The Greater Long Island Running Club is now accepting nominations for its 16th annual Scholarship Award.
