An Interview With Muttontown's Mayor
Muttontown Mayor Richard Murcott recently attended a meeting of the Nassau County Village Officials Association and heard Nassau County Assessor Charlesl O'Shea speak on the county's reassessment plan. The project, which started on Oct. 1, will reassess all 450,000 parcels of property, 340,000 of which are homes, in the county at a cost of $30 million. An independent company has been hired to do the work and a bond issued to pay the cost.

Tam O'Shanter Country Club in Brookville held their Eighth Annual Tennis Luncheon for Jones Manor on the Sound on Aug. 22. Since the event, the residents have expressed what a great time was had by all.
