Friends Takes NYS Championships
The Friends Academy crew team completed a very active rowing season with a number of accomplishments. The team participated in the Long Island Scholastic Championships at Hempstead Lake; New Jersey Scholastic Championships; Long Island Scholastics in Oyster Bay; New York State Championships at Saratoga Springs; Stotesbury Regatta in Philadelphia; Scholastic Rowing Association of America Championships in Middletown, Delaware and the West Point Regatta.

Wilson Cited at Berkshire School
Morgan Wilson, a Berkshire School senior and the son of Roy and Meg Wilson of Mill Neck, received two awards at the recent Berkshire School athletic award convocation. He was named winner of the Dan Goodyear Shot-put Award, given by a 1956 Berkshire School graduate who holds the school shot-put record. In addition, he won the Reid M. Mosman Track Trophy for determination and competitiveness, given by the Mosman family.
