ZBA Hears Parking Lot Proposal
The Hallock proposal for an assisted living facility on South Street completed the second part of its permit process. Attorney Jeffrey Forchelli represented the case to the Zoning Board of Appeals on Thursday, March 9.

Stop World Hunger Tennis 2000
Stop World Hunger, Inc. is pleased to announce its tennis schedule for the year 2000 - its 20th year of tennis activities! Since the summer of 1981, Stop World Hunger's tennis programs have raised more than $57,000 to help Catholic Relief Services feed God's hungry children throughout the world. Assistance is provided "wherever the need is greatest" regardless of race, religion, and/or nationality.
Vytra Long Island Women's 5K Run
The 17th annual Vytra Health Plans Long Island Women's 5 Kilometer Run will be held on Saturday, July 8, and it will once again represent the joint efforts of business, government and the Long Island running community to give a big boost to women's running and physical fitness on Long Island.
