Liz Macri, of Oyster Bay, a junior at Dartmouth College, was named player of the week by the Ivy League Women's Ice Hockey Association. Players from the league are from Dartmouth, Brown, Harvard, Princeton, Cornell and Yale.

Dartmouth is in first place with a record of 6-2-0.

Liz Macri had a hat trick against Cornell in the league's only Ivy game of the week of Feb. 7. Dartmouth jumped to first place in the Ivy League points-standings that week. The next night, against St. Lawrence, Liz tallied two assists, including the helper on the game-winning goal.

The season began on Nov. 22 and continues to Feb. 28.
