As the hearing began for a 112-unit assisted living facility for the Hallock property on South Street, Oyster Bay, Supervisor John Venditto laid out his concerns that there was insufficient information on the project to have a hearing.

Community Foundation on Target
The Community Foundation of Oyster Bay proved its relevancy to the town as Mrs. George O'Neill spoke in favor of the new Main Street program for downtown revitalization. The project was explained by David Lamb at the kickoff of the foundation's year 2000 fund-raising effort. This year the goal is $170,000.
