  • NEWS: Jakes Is Coming Down

    Currently the town is taking down buildings on the state owned property at the Jakobson Shipyard. "Building 'M' (the large building in the center of Jakes, on West Shore Road) and building 'N' ( where the Christeen was worked on) are already down. We are working on building 'O' (near West Shore Road and the Capone property) and building 'L' (the sail loft)," said a town spokesperson. FULL STORY

Entering las week's game against Holy Spirit (Sunday, Nov. 14 at St. Gertrude's) the Lady Waves have compiled a very impressive three game winning streak and sit alone, atop the Mineola Division at 3-0.
