Two Long Island ladies have joined forces in a way that bodes well for the North Shore. Lori Bahnik of Oyster Bay has been appointed by the NYS Senate majority as co-chair of the Long Island North Shore Heritiage Area planning commission. The Village of Muttontown adjourned their meeting on Monday, Nov. 8, because of lack of a quorum. Still, as this newspaper went to press, Mayor Richard Murcott said he would be available at village hall to talk to residents. One of the things he would discuss, he said was the cellular tower problem they and other villages are facing. FULL STORY
