Boys & Girls Club of Oyster Bay-East Norwich annual golf outing - the 1999 Presidents Cup Golf Tournament wasn't stopped by the rain on Monday, Oct. 4. The fun started as everyone arrived enthusiastic and ready to play. They started coming in at 10:30 a.m. and the fun never stopped. The shotgun start was at 12:30. The rain held out until the last person was inside. Then it poured.

"It never rains on a Boys & Girls Club function," said Camille Mastellone, development director.

The same day, St. Dominic's had their golf outing, she said. "They were sold out and we were sold out. It was a great day for the children of St. Dominic's, Oyster Bay and East Norwich."

And, she added, "We thank all our supporters who helped us raise the needed funds to run the Boys & Girls Club of Oyster Bay-East Norwich."
