This week's newspaper has a great many pictures of the people attending the Boys & Girls Club of Oyster Bay-East Norwich 1999 President's Cup Golf outing.
They deserve to be here because of the importance of what the club is doing for the youth of Oyster Bay and East Norwich.
Last summer the teens of Oyster Bay had two great places to go in the evening. The two-night BOBCAT program and the three teen nights at the clubhouse.
Recently, Roger Bahnik said the teen program is the reason he built the clubhouse.
Listening to the Assets program held on Oct. 12 at Oyster Bay High School, it was apparent that the clubhouse is needed and is a great asset to the community and its youth.
That's why the newspaper has so many pictures of the people who put so much effort into supporting the club. They are a testimony to the young people of how this community cares about them.
A big thank you to all the people featured in this week's Oyster Bay Enterprise Pilot. You are wonderful.
