Debbie Bertoli's heart was touched when she listened to coverage about a young boy hurt in the fighting in Kosovo. She has two sons, Peter, 9, and Alex, 12 - the injured boy, Danijel Ivic is just 11.

Field of Dreams Still Sleeping
The rain on Sept. 15, didn't keep people away from the hearing of the Muttontown ZBA on the St. Dominic property on 25A. The parish has been waiting for approval for Monsignor Ribaudo's Field of Dreams - in the meantime, they have been renovating what will be the retreat house, for 10 to 15 people, on the lot. New windows and doors have been installed in the 1950/60 style house on the site.

OBEN Tornadoes Swept Sachem
The Oyster Bay-East Norwich soccer team won the Sachem Travel Soccer Tournament on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 21 and 22. The Tornadoes are girls born after Aug. 1, 1988 that are starting their third year of playing travel soccer for the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Soccer Club.
