Matthew Meng said, "If you measured the meeting on a point scale, it was a dead heat. Both sides made valid and strong points. Public Access Television Needs Program Time and Volunteers
Charles Gaulkin of the Oyster Bay Community Media and the Public Access movement of Long Island was interested in the recent Cablevision contract. "It will be raised by a surcharge on the bill," he said. "Some will pay more than others - whatever is 5 percent of their bill."

David Reiner of Laurel Hollow, Ron Horowitz of Kings Point and Robert Schilling of Cold Spring Harbor are co-chairs of the Tennis Committee for Swing for Kids VIII, Tilles Center for the Performing Art's annual golf and tennis tournament. The popular outing takes place at The Creek Club in Locust Valley and the Meadowbrook Club in Jericho on Monday, June 28.
