I read your article in this week's Enterprise-Pilot concerning the Hearing of the Oyster Bay Water District's plan to extend water service into the Village of Cove Neck. In your article you quoted me accurately in my comments to the town board and you correctly identified me as 1st Assistant Chief.

Now I know it gets a little confusing when there are two separate fire companies in one town, such as we have in Oyster Bay, but just to get the record straight, I am assistant chief of Oyster Bay Fire Company No. 1, not the Atlantic Steamer Fire Co.
