I would like to publicly thank all the individuals and organizations in Oyster Bay who have assisted me in so many ways during the past year. As a result of an accident over a year ago, I am now disabled and confined to a wheelchair. Your support and concern have provided me with more independence and improved the quality of my life.

From the fruit basket for the holidays, monetary contribution toward a computer, to the foldable wheelchair, ramp, phone calls and visits, I am proud to be a resident of such a loving, caring community.

A special thank you to both of the Oyster Bay Fire Departments for being there at a moment's notice. I know you've been called out of bed in the middle of the night and are there to help without hesitation. I always feel safe and secure knowing that the highly trained and devoted members of this volunteer organization are there to help.

Thank you Oyster Bay...my family and I appreciate each and every person and group who has been there, and continues to be there with support of every kind.
