I am not a neighbor of the Inn on the Harbor. I live about a mile away. I will not be directly affected by the additional noise, traffic, etc., of their proposed expansion but I am opposed to the project.

If our town council approves the expansion plan, it will destroy the western gateway to our village. We will have a greatly enlarged M&J Powles Clam Bar, the large parking facility serving the town's popular boat ramp and the bigger, better, grander Inn-on-the-Harbor. This is too much activity—too many vehicles, too much asphalt, too much sewage for a very small stretch of 25-A.

The expansion will only benefit the restaurant and be detrimental to our village. Please remind your council that they represent the best interests of the citizenry.
